Heel prick = Crabby baby

One more little update while I have some down time:

We took Jacob for his 2 week pediatrician appointment on Tuesday. He weighed in at 8lbs 7oz (40th percentile for his age) and measured 21.5 inches (75th percentile). Doctor says he is doing fantastic - we think so too!

At this appointment Jake also had to have his heel pricked to collect blood for state mandated testing. It was pretty humorous because he was being such a good little boy, happy as could be, but when the nurse pricked his heel you could see his eyes perk up and then after about a 2-3 second delay he turned bright red and started WAILING! He was NOT a happy camper after that.

For the rest of the day he was pretty needy and fussy, but still a cutie :) We're just happy that everything appears to be great with our little boy!

More pics will come after Tim's mom and stepdad visit! They are here tomorrow through Monday.
